The Redcliffs Rest Home provides specialised professional care for the elderly, in a nonsectarian home, with emphasis on Christian principles of service and care for the whole person.

Our Philosophy
We believe in and practice Christian Principles of; kindness, care, and service, professionally given, for Residents' maximum security, independence and dignity. We recognise that as every person has a spirit and soul as well as a body, it is necessary to give care at every level. We acknowledge every person's great value, irrespective of age, race, creed, or gender.

We emphasise; quality, individualised care, the alleviation of suffering and encourage Residents' independence according to ability, in a carefully supported environment. For example, one of our residents came to the rest home with such poor mobility he was in a wheel chair with leg braces. He swam in the hot pool five times a week, exercised in the pool twice a week. He then walked most of the time without even a walking stick, his mobility had improved so much.

Short Term Care
While most of our Residents have made this their home, we also welcome short term Residents. Many short term Residents return regularly to allow their carers a break. The carers can relax and "recharge their batteries," knowing their loved one is in good hands. Residents' quotes:
